Etihad has been rapidly increasing its entire workforce to accommodate the accelerated passenger growth through the UAE’s capital. It’s seeking to build at least 28 new high-rise apartment towers by 2023.

 

By the beginning of 2018, Etihad had a total of 24,558 employees, up 130% from 10,656 in 2012. Etihad’s rapid expansion mirrors that of the Dubai-based Emirates Airline, with apartments and villas to accommodate cabin crew, pilots and engineers.
